Alumna Update - Elizabeth Smith
On May 4, HNMCS alumna and writer Elizabeth Smith ’13 shared her insights on becoming a writer and her educational journey with Grade 12 Writer’s Craft students.
Elizabeth is a published author who recently graduated from the Creative Writing (BA) program at Concordia University in Montreal. She has just completed a full-length graphic novel is now working on a memoir.
During her visit, Elizabeth led a creative writing workshop, where students wrote 20-minute stories based on constructed prompts. Students left the session inspired to submit their own work to publishing agencies.
