On Tuesday March 1st the Senior School Music Classes participated in an afternoon session with Canadian Soprano Measha Brueggergosman. Ms. Brueggergosman is the Artist In Residence at the Toronto based company Opera Atelier.
The Artist in Residence is appointed on the basis of outstanding professional attainments, creative accomplishments, and a dedication to equity, diversity and inclusion in their creative domain.
Opera Atelier’s popular Making of an Opera (MOAO) program - a free program, which launched in 1995, is designed to introduce all aspects of opera to middle school and high school students from diverse backgrounds.
Our students enjoyed listening to her journey and her inspiring messages of humility, faith and hard work. We look forward to meeting with her again at the end of the school term!
