The STARS truly came out to shine at the annual HNMCS Father Daughter event. Chaired by a committee of dedicated dads, this much-anticipated event celebrated the incredible bond between the girls and their fathers and raised funds in support of various HNMCS programmes.

From the moment guests arrived, they were greeted with Hollywood flair. As they approached the entrance, they walked past premium BMW and Porsche vehicles while inside two Harley Davidsons were prominently displayed. HNMCS girls and their dads posed for pictures on the red carpet! Once familiar rooms were transformed into spaces fit for royalty, the gym was converted to a club-like lounge, complete with a dance floor.

With the incredible serving staff (a.k.a HNMCS Volunteer Moms!), the night was filled with delicious food, great music, and an amazing community spirit. The highlight of the evening was the surprise entertainment from a team of professional celebrity back-up dancers and Sole Power DJ who kept everyone on their feet, dancing the evening away

When they weren’t on the dance floor, dads and daughters were busy at the auction table, where they eagerly bid on everything from hockey jerseys to Ariana Grande tickets to autographed collector items, all of which had been donated through the generous efforts of the fathers and family members.

Special thanks go out to Event Chair Paul Kemper, committee members, alum dads and mom volunteers. Their dedication in making this event extraordinary for the HNMCS girls was second to none. Such a spectacular evening called for the collaboration of many people, from the event planning to donating items, from set-up to tear down, from beginning to end in the wee hours. The committee members ensured that everyone was treated as a VIP, highlighting the true spirit of the HNMCS community. Thank you from all of the HNMCS community!
