This marked our first ever season playing in Tier 1 Flag Football. Led by team captains Emmy Lebed ‘19, Maya Pankiw ‘19, Tara Kemper ‘19, and with Christina Caklos ‘22 our starting quarterback, Holy Name of Mary College School (HNMCS) won our first ever Tier 1 game defeating Turner Fenton and finished third in a tournament at Woodlands. Everyone on the team contributed and always brought their best effort. Well done!

The Mississauga Cricket League visited HNMCS on October 30th to introduce students to one of the most popular games in the world. Physical Education classes in grades 5, 6, 7, 8, 10 and 11 participated in the day. Students had a wonderful time and gained a huge amount from the experience. For many, it was the first time they had played cricket. Students were coached by former Canadian cricket captain Rizwan Cheema, who has competed all over the world.
