HNMCS Robotics continues to grow from strength to strength, and November 5th was another thrilling competition day for us!

Team 7659 (HNMCS Robotics) participated in STEMley: Overtime Sunday, an off-season event hosted by teams 4039 & 5406, at St. Mary Secondary School in Hamilton. The event affords FRC teams the opportunity to play the previous year's game one more time in a supportive and fun environment, while giving Rookie teams the opportunity to experience FRC competition before the "real" season starts. The participating teams and their supporters got to see some of the awesome robots from the past year for the last time before the new the season begins.

Team 7659, with Amy (operator), Sam (driver), Jona and Megan (technicians), Poppy and Simona (human players), and Maya (scouting lead), all did an amazing job! The Grade 9 Rookies, participating for the first time, were impressive as well! HNMCS Robotics was chosen to join the Alliance 1 for playoffs, and after a series of intense and competitive rounds, Team 7659 emerged as the Champions!

And of course team mentor Dr. Kozma. It was a great way to end the season! The preparation for the 2024 season begins as we retire "Lightning Queen"! ⚡️
